Behind the AI Agents
Product + Design at Aampe
July 2025 โ April 2026
Aampe is agentic personalization infrastructure. One AI agent per user, each learning what that person responds to and acting on it continuously: what to say, when to say it, how to frame it. No manual segments, no campaign schedules, no A/B test queue. At scale, that means managing around 500 million events per day, messaging 10โ25 million users daily, and making 15โ200 billion decisions per week across product surfaces. Companies like Swiggy, Blinkist, and Deezer use it to move beyond broadcast messaging toward true 1:1 personalization at scale.
Most designers are consumers of product specs. At Aampe, I wrote them. I worked across the full design process: shaping pitches, designing and prototyping, and working with engineers through two-week sprints following the Shape Up process.
The core design challenge was legibility: giving non-technical operators meaningful control over a system making thousands of micro-decisions per day, without flattening it into false simplicity or exposing them to unnecessary complexity.
AI Transformation for a Big 4 Firm
November 2024 โ July 2025
We started with foundational research, then moved into design: a GenAI assistant for the assurance practice, and a multi-agent orchestrator for complex financial audit workflows. The core design challenge across both was trust. Auditors work in a high-stakes, regulated domain. A system that gives experts no meaningful way to verify its reasoning, fails before it starts.
The ask: research the space, identify where design could have the most impact, and build the experiences that would change how 140,000 auditors across 150 countries do their work.
The firm was midway through a $1.4 billion, five-year AI transformation when they brought us in.
